Taller La Raíz
Taller La Raíz is an agricultural project rooted in Afro-Caribbean traditions founded by Alyssa N. Villegas Rodríguez during the winter of 2019.
Our work is rooted in the cultivation, preservation, and practice of Puerto Rican foodways, medicinal and spiritual practices, and the intersection between the African and Indigenous Diaspora. We share ancestral knowledge through land stewardship, charlas, and workshops.
